Yamaha just gave us another reason to love the 2015 Yamaha R1 and R1M: the online meter simulator. As if we needed anymore convincing.

The in-depth simulator allows for any would be riders (or those who are just curious) to learn about the R1/R1M's electronics and controls. Everything from how the display works and what each control does is covered. More importantly, it introduces the environment in which the Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) app dictates. There's even a few tutorial videos to guide you through your exploration process.

For those who don't know, the YRC app allows riders to fully adjust the R1's advanced suspension settings from a tablet or computer. Ah, the convenience of technology. Head over to the R1 "Features / Innovations" section at Yamaha Motor Sports site to check out the meter simulator for yourself. It's pretty nifty.
